**Please Note This is NOT Homecoming Weekend**
We hope you will join us to take part in the "Georgia Tech Tradition and Pageantry" by participating in Alumni Band Weekend.
Family members (including those under 18 years old) who play traditional marching band instruments (sorry, kazoos will not count this year) are also able to participate in Alumni Band Weekend performances/events.
We would love for everyone to participate in Alumni Band Weekend in the capacity that best accommodates you (and your family). It is not required to participate in every event or every day.
There are 3 registration options this year:
Standard ($40)
Recent Graduates ($25)
Friday Evening Event Only (Social & Celebration of Chris' 30 Years with the YJMB) or Non-GT Band Family Members ($15)
All events, entry to GT vs. dook with the Band and a place in the Band section of the stands (separate game ticket required if you do not enter with the Band), and identified meals (reference registration form) are included with each registration option, excluding the Friday-Only Event option.
Attend as many or as few events as you would like/are able.

The Alumni Band uniform for Saturday (GAMEDAY!) will be:
Instrumentalists-
Top: White GTBAA or GT Band polo. Your GT Band polo or old GTBAA SWAG are allowed, as long as it's white.
Bottom: Khaki Shorts or Pants (it may be a hot Noon game, TBD)
Hats (optional): White GT/GTBAA Ballcap
Auxiliaries-
Top: Charcoal Gray Colorguard or Twirler tee or tank. These were introduced in 2023.
Bottom: Black Pants or Leggings.
Tennis Shoes
A decision on layers will be made closer to the event based on the weather forecast.

Who is considered a "recent" graduate?

Can my family join me?
Family members are welcome to join throughout the weekend to socialize, excluding the in-stadium activities, unless they're playing, flagging or twirling with us! Please complete a registration form for them so we can ensure they've been accounted for for food orders, etc. Additionally, please select the "Friday Evening Event Only or Non-GT Band Family Members ($15)" option on the payment page for each family member.
Those family members who play traditional marching band instruments are able to participate in Alumni Band Weekend performances and will be allowed into the stands with the Band. High school age students playing instruments will also be able to perform with us on the field. Other family members will need to have their own tickets to the game.
Do I need a ticket to the game?
As long as you enter with the Band via the tunnel, you do not need a ticket. A separate game ticket will be required if you do not enter with the Band, or if you wish to exit and re-enter the stadium.
If I'm not attending all events, can I pay less for registration?
No, with the only exception being the Friday evening event. If that is the only event you are attending, please register and pay for the "Friday Evening Event Only or Non-GT Band Family Members ($15)" option. For the other two registration options this year, neither is dependent on the number of days or events you choose to participate in. The value you get out of the weekend will be up to each individual, as all events are optional.
