Saturday, April 28, 2012:  College of Engineering Gig!

The College of Engineering is having their awards banquet at the Ritz Carlton Downtown.  We will be doing our usual for them, playing White and Gold & Ramble at the end of the banquet.  They have made a special and interesting request for us this go-round.  Organizers have been struggling with getting people from the Reception beforehand to the room where dinner is served, and were wondering if we could do something creative to help facilitate this movement.  I think we're going to simply cheer them on in that general direction.

Schedule:

5:00 PM – 6:00 PM GT Orchestra plays

6:00 PM – 7:00 PM Reception

6:30 PM - Call time to help cheer

7:00 PM – 7:05 PM We do something to get them to move from Point A to Point B

8:15 PM - Call time to play

9:00 PM – 9:10 PM We play White and Gold & Ramble

FAQ:

Do I have to pay for parking? No.  They will validate our tickets we get from the machine

Are you going to feed me? Of course.

What do I wear? White band polo, jeans, tennis shoes
