October 26 – 28 is Homecoming 2012 Weekend!   This year’s Homecoming Festivities honor the graduating class of 2012, and the RAT classes of 2002, 1992, 1982, 1972, 1962, 1952, and 1942.  If you are in these groups, we would especially love to have you join us!

This weekend will be action packed as we start out with the Surround Sounds Concert on Friday night at 7:00 PM.  Following the concert is a cheesecake reception sponsored by GTBAA in the Ferst Theater Gallery. To purchase tickets, please go to the Ferst Theater site.

Join us on the field with the Band as we play a special Pregame honoring the decades represented by Alumni present.  If you prefer to keep your season ticket seats but still want to join some of the festivities, we will offer a “Pregame Only” option that enables you to participate on the field while keeping those good seats!  We will provide more details on rehearsal times as we draw closer to Homecoming.   After the game, Tau Beta Sigma will host a Homecoming Reception where we will enjoy fellowship, catch up on life, and recognize our fellow Bandmembers and Band Alumni for their service to the Band.

This year, we are going to host our first annual Student/Alumni picnic on campus behind Couch.  Please bring your families with you to the event!  We will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs, and providing “fixings” so make plans to come on over to the festivities!

Homecoming Rules / Regulations

1.  We will once again perform for Pregame.  We will be doing a little something different so if you plan on participating on the field, please be sure to come to the practice.  If you:

a.   Are only participating in Marchdown and Pregame, you will perform on the field and then go to your seats.

b.  Are planning on participating in Marchdown, Pregame,  and wish to play in the stands, we will be seated in a different area (the section immediately to the left of the standard Away Band seating), and it's accessible from the field. We will be trading off with the band, playing during defensive downs.

2.   For safety and insurance purposes, ONLY official performing members will be allowed in the tunnel or on the field. No spouses, children or extra family members.

3.   No wristbands will be necessary. The GTBAA Shirt, Khakis and an Instrument will allow admission (this may be subject to change pending a meeting with Gameday Operations)

4.   Children may march down the hill but may not enter the tunnel.

5.   You will need a ticket for entrance to the game.  You may use your season ticket or purchase one in the Homecoming Area on this webpage.

6.  There is no Rule Number 6.
