Last year we were very proud that many of you joined us in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Georgia Tech Band.  We had a wonderful time, and our largest Alumni gathering ever.  We would like to encourage everyone to join us again this year for our 2009 Homecoming festivities.  Mark your calendars and make travel plans for the weekend of October 16-17th!

 Friday Night

Our weekend will kick off with the Surround Sound concert at the Ferst Center for the Arts at 7:00pm on Friday.  Following the concert at 8:00pm there will be a reception for alumni, current students, family and friends.

Saturday (Gameday!)

Saturday's activities include a rehearsal, pre-game meal, short business meeting, and performance at the Campanile - all leading to our Homecoming game against Virginia Tech- perhaps the biggest matchup on the entire ACC schedule this year.  We will then be performing with the GT Band as they march down The Hill, and then we will join them in the stadium and on the field for pregame.  We will be seated in the stadium with the GT Band, so if you are a season ticket holder and you wish to sit with the Alumni Band, now is the time to start finding friends to use your normal seats.  It will be a great time to see old friends and cheer the Yellow Jackets to victory!  After the game, Tau Beta Sigma will be hosting a reception with drinks and snacks, during which GTBAA will present the Outstanding Junior award.
